Bolt Fund policy

Established in 2020, the SICA bolt fund provides a means of subsidizing developers’ efforts in the South Island area. Applications will be considered on a biannual basis by the SICA Board, and evaluated based on a variety of objectives, such as revitalizing neglected crags, diversifying the sport, expanding into lesser-served areas of the south island, and being of interest to the wider community rather than a select few. The highest consideration is that the proposal be submitted by a member of the community deemed capable of completing the work in a manner compliant with the Society’s objectives.
