We are climbers on Vancouver Island.
from Cowichan to Port Renfrew and South to Victoria to be exact.
We want to acknowledge the ancestral, traditional territories upon which we climb. South Island Climbers Association members climb on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, Pacheedaht, Ts'uubaa-asatx, Cowichan, Malahat, T’Sou-ke, Scia’new, Esquimalt, Songhees, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Pauquachin, and Tseycum First Nations.
